I have found Eagan and other parts of Dakota County to be quite liberal. The west suburbs (Edina, Eden Prairie, and around Lake Minnetonka) also seem to have an infestation of limousine liberals.

More validation of your point: poll today has Walsh (R) over Duckworth by 2 in IL-8. . . But PPP just two weeks ago had this 52-38 Duckworth. Now, that’s a 16-point swing?? Somebody is really, really wrong.

Yeah, people can say they live in some Leftist hellholes, but Minneapolis takes the cake.
Hugo Chavez would be to the right of some on the city council...this is no lie.
Some of these nuts could make Castro blush.

My experience with voter ID the last time I voted in Minnesota (2010) was not positive.

1. I found that someone was going to be voting on my behalf (thanks commie MF SoS Mark Ritchie).
2. This was the year that the State AG threatened to have anyone wearing a T-shirt saying “Ask for my ID” with arrest.
3. I did not have such a T-shirt, but when I presented my drivers license to the election judge without being aske to do so, I got a dirty look. All I was supposed to do was point at my name on the list. So anyone can vote under anyone else’s name. Again thanks commie MF SoS Mark Ritchie.

If Joey Butafucco ran for congress as a Democrat, he’d carry Duluth.

You can tell that the marriage amendment is polling very well because it’s not being pushed very much. Sure, the Red Star has about 2 guest editorials a week on one side or the other, but if it was polling well, you know they would be trumpeting that. My neighbor is a lifelong Democrat, but she’ll be voting for the amendment and said a lot of her political compatriots will be as well.

When 50% of your state budget goes to government education, you’re going to have a pretty left-leaning voter base. We really need reform in that area.
I left Keith Ellison’s third world hellhole (Minneapolis) a few years back, for Chip Cravaack country, and am not looking back.
Being that Mondale only won MN. against Reagan because he was a Minnesotan, I’d say the state could be in play for that one reason...Obama isn’t an American!

I know he wasn’t exactly a red meat Tea-Party type, but Norm Coleman should have won in 2008.

I wonder if Pine County will find enough so called missing votes to put Obama over like they did to put Franken over the top.

“...but Minneapolis takes the cake.”

It certainly does. I grew up in the suburbs but have lived in Minneapolis for some time now.

This city is really going off the deep end ideologically. I need to get out soon.

Minnesota is so rife with voter fraud that we make the Cook County election managers look like amateurs. I don't know if this link will work. If not, let me know.

http://www.minnesotamajority.org/TheIssues/ElectionIntegrity/tabid/188/Default.aspx

Voter ID will be just one small step in cleaning up this mess. Another step would be public officials in high places who aren't utterly corrupt.

Minnesota is a joke.
