Are you on the right website? Are you? This is a pro-gun ownership site, even supporting gun ownership for neighbors we don't like. Atomic weapon ownership is the national equivalent of gun ownership. Politically we can't nuke Iran unless they have them. If Iran-sponsored terrorists nuked NYC, 1) mostly Democrats would be nuked, and 2) both Iran and the Democrat party would cease to exist.

Atomic weapon ownership is the national equivalent of gun ownership. You can't be serious.

You want this to escalate to nuclear war?

OK, "Mr. Equivocating Straw Man." Let's deconstruct that bit of specious "reasoning."
First, you are trying to eqivocate a compact made between members of a society bearing equal status in their citizenship to relations between two nations, one properly constituted and the other a rogue dedicated to lawlessness.
The differences should be obvious without the need to further belabor the point. But even in our gun owning society, we abrogate the "rights" of those who have proven irresponsible in their exercise (i.e. felons.)
It should be obvious to everyone that Iran is a felonious State, sworn to the destruction of it's neighbors.
They have told us what they'll do with a nuclear weapon. It's on us if we let that happen.
The next time you try to construct a "logical argument," try to get it to a level somewhere above Sophomore debate class.
