Maybe that perp walk was not a perp walk. Perhaps it was to get him in protective custody and/or to convince him not to disclose any prior contact he may have with our agencies.

That video could very well have been part of some sort of operation in Egypt. What no one counted on was the attack in Benghazi which could have been the luck of the draw as far as timing goes or planned by someone who knew about an operation in Egypt.

It might explain why Patraeus was pushing the video excuse. The events in Egypt are unrelated. But we could have been caught with our pants down in Benghazi because of something bigger we had going on in Egypt.

(Sorry if long-winded and wandering—grandkids left but not before making Grandma sick)

When you get a chance listen to the Howie Carr/Hunt clip. Did we turn a blind eye...for SAMs and maybe a blind sheik?

Requests for added security denied, Benghazi police didn’t repond, nothing from our Command Centers watching in real-time ... WTH?

Benghazi, Libya (dpa) - The police chief in Libya‘s eastern city of Benghazi on Saturday survived an assassination attempt, security sources said.

The car of Colonel Mohammed bin Haleem exploded when he remotely switched it on. The blast caused no injuries, the state-run news agency reported.

“The bomb was carefully placed inside the car,” it quoted an unnamed source as saying.
