Hillary spent $70.000 apologizing with the tv ads.

Then came out and said they knew all along it was an organized terrorist attack. They had a live video feed!

There is the crux of it. You have two individual/groups who are used to having people fall on their swords for them. Now they are in a situation where one of the two parties HAS to take the blame. Neither side wants it to be them. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

It doesn't serve either the obamas or clintons for this to come to a head before the elections. If Romney pushes hard enough and in the right direction, he could get this all to boil over before that time, though.

The attack was orchestrated to set Hillary up to run against Romney in 2016, and yes the jug eared twerp in the WH knew it.
