I'm certainly no fan of Paul, but it should be pointed out that the Republican nominee thinks there is no connection between Islam and jihadism.

As official US policy, you have to make the distinction between the religion and the jihadists or you will unify all factions against you.

Think of it as keeping them divided.

Given this, at least Romney recognizes the danger of terrorism and will use the word while Ron Paul and President Obama do not.
