We’re having a hard freeze tonight too. I brought in a small basil plant last night. We’re going to harvest a bunch of jalapenos tonight, and maybe bring in some small plants in pots. We still have all of our herbs about 12 feet off the ground, in containers that hang off of the deck railing. (the deck is 8 feet high) Some of them will survive, but the basil won’t. It’s always a sad time.
Tonight will kill a lot of plants and then it warms up for a few days again. I have 2 tomato plants in pots. They could have been moved if I’d known sooner. Too late....
