Yeah, he is polite, but it may not be the problem some think.
But, I think that the pessimism on how Ryan is doing I'm hearing is overdone. I think Ryan is doing quite well. He's not as polished as Biden, but he's earnest, and comes across as earnest and knowledgeable. It may not be a knockout for our side, but it won't be one for the other, either.
At the moment, Biden is throwing around crazy numbers... and interrupting. It may score small points, but I don't think it matters.
Ryan’s politeness translates into confidence. He’s given Biden enough rope to hang himself and looks far the better man.
