Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor December 7, 1942. Internment policy wasn't implemented until some time in 1943. I'd look it up but I'm lazy. Anyone else, feel free. That would be about 69 years ago. A boy would be able to read at about age 6, so he'd have to be roundly 75 years old. On the other hand, he might not have been able to read, just see pictures of lots of evil-looking slanty-eyed, yellow-skinned charicatures with buck teeth. So let's say he was four or five, and is now 73. Now to wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Honda "Michael Makoto "Mike" Honda (Japanese: 本田実) (born June 27, 1941) is an American Democratic Party politician. He currently serves as the U.S. Representative for California's 15th congressional district, encompassing western San Jose and Silicon Valley. He has been serving since 2001." Busted. He was 18 months old on December 7, 1942, and 5 years old in 1946 when Japan capitulated. He certainly is a Democratic Party politician. Lying as naturally as others breath.

The formal surrender of Japan, took place 2 September
1945 on the Battleship Missouri anchored in Tokyo Harbor some two weeks after initial acceptance of terms.
