You know to ping someone when you attack them.
Read post 31, and the national Review article linked in post 40, and the hundreds of freerepublic threads that challenges that little letter of yours put together for the presidential campaign.
Romney is a radical when it comes to supporting the homosexual agenda, even during this election.

In the past, you and I have had more than our share of controversy.
However, I believe in giving credit where credit is due.
You have been consistent voice in spelling out the multitude of ways in which Mitt Romney’s public policies differ from the conservative plumb line, for which I commend you.
An excellent proposition, Governor, but it is the Congress that decides funding in this country, not the President. Tell us how you are going to influence the men and women of the US Congress to stop funding this atrocity.
I sure don’t enjoy posting what I must, but when I see certain things claimed, a myth being created, I just have to respond with the truth about the man.
After this election, conservatives need to know who and what a President Mitt Romney really is, the rinos will love him and his politics as they have for the last 6 years, to them Mitt is a positive vote, the man they wanted, a dream come true, the payoff of 6 years of hard work, but the conservatives who support him out of desperation and resignation will need to be dragged back to reality and see the head of the GOP as he really is, so that they can work effectively and save the tea party and conservatism from being totally hobbled and broken by him.
Right now everyone is focused on winning and defeating Obama, but in a few months they will see that they have a new problem sitting in the White House, and that he has an agenda that includes defeating conservatism and the Reagan wing of the GOP.
Horse hockey.
This special license hooey has been thoroughly discredited, and by those who were involved in the specifics, including those who signed the statement posted earlier. The governor does not even issue marriage licenses in Massachusetts.
Your logic would have Richard Nixon responsible for legalized abortion.
This continuing deceitful smear is just bogus and embarrassing to anyone concerned with the truth. Mitt Romney was one of the earliest and strongest defenders of marriage in this country.
Nothing was discredited, and don’t misrepresent what I said.
I didn’t say that he issued normal marriage licenses.
I said this—””he even participated, by issuing special licenses. Boston Globe reports Romney issued special Governors ceremonial marriage licenses to 189 same-sex couples in 2005””
_________________________________________________
“BOSTON A pro-family activist says that while Mitt Romney was the Massachusetts governor, from 2004 through 2006 the contender for the GOP presidential nomination handed out more than 500 one-day certificates for individuals to perform homosexual marriage ceremonies.
Author and analyst Steve Baldwin says that the numbers are real, even though the records are scarce.
He likely issued a similar number of the permits in both 2004 and 2006, but the state records for these years are not easily available. One-day marriage certificates are permits issued to a couple allowing them to designate anyone they choose to officiate at their wedding, Baldwin said.
These special one-day marriage permits are not to be confused with the thousands of regular marriage licenses granted to same-sex couples by justices of the peace and town clerks by order of Gov. Romney in the aftermath of the Goodridge same-sex marriage decision, Baldwin said.
While the officiant permits and regular marriage licenses are separate documents and separate issues in the homosexual marriage debate, Baldwin says the number of one-day officiant permits issued by Romney shows the depth of the former governors true intentions.
These special certificates demonstrate where his heart was on the same-sex marriage issue since they were purely discretionary. There was no mandate forcing Romney to issue such certificates, Baldwin said.”
“Just remember to keep your word come January.”
If you know anything about his history, I wouldn’t hold your breath on that.
No, he has not. He continues to support the gay agenda to degrade marriage.
6-13-2011 debate went to great lengths to say it was a state’s right.
He did reverse that on 8-11-2011 because what one state recognizes in this regard ties the other states’ hands. That’s the trouble. He is saying good things (now) more often than not, but he has a record of saying what he thinks people want to hear. He’s been all over the place on gay marriage (destroying marriage) in the last year.
So how is Alan Keyes faring?
Well said and good to remember.
I don’t know. How’s Governor Palin?
Hmmmm, what to do.... believe YOU, who has lied blatantly and shamelessly as proven over and over again.
OR... believe THESE people who live their faith and walk the walk in actual service to pro-life and pro-family initiatives...
a good case can be made that Romney has fought harder for social conservatives than any other governor in America, and it is difficult to imagine his doing so in a more daunting political environment.

First you can lay of the personal attacks, especially one so absurd as saying that my facts and Romney quotes, are lies.
If you notice, you have that lonely letter written for his presidential campaign, versus years of conservative articles and mainstream articles, and the cold hard fact that he was radically for the homosexual agenda, which is undeniable since his own writings and campaign literature proves that.
Do you admit Romney’s own pro-homosexual loyalties?
You like letters? Here is a letter for you, do you think that it is fake?
I am writing to thank the Log Cabin Club of Massachusetts for the advice and support you have given to me during my campaign for the U.S. Senate and to seek the Clubs formal endorsement of my election. The Log Cabin Club has played a vital role in reinvigorating the Republican Party in Massachusetts and your endorsement is important to me because it will provide further confirmation that my campaign and approach to government is consistent with the values and vision of government we share.
I am pleased to have had an opportunity to talk with you and to meet many of you personally during your September meeting. I learned a great deal from those discussions and the many thoughtful questions you posed. As a result of our discussions and other interactions with gay and lesbian voters across the state, I am more convinced than ever before that as we seek to establish full equality for Americas gay and lesbian citizens, I will provide more effective leadership than my opponent.
I am not unaware of my opponents considerable record in the area of civil rights, or the commitment of Massachusetts voters to the principle of equality for all Americans. For some voters it might be enough for me to simply match my opponents record in this area. But I believe we can and must do better. If we are to achieve the goals we share, we must make equality for gays and lesbians a mainstream concern. My opponent cannot do this. I can and will.
We have discussed a number of important issues such as the Federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), which I have agreed to co-sponsor, and if possible broaden to include housing and credit, and the bill to create a federal panel to find ways to reduce gay and lesbian youth suicide, which I also support. One issue I want to clarify concerns President Clintons dont ask, dont tell, dont pursue military policy. I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nations military. That goal will only be reached when preventing discrimination against gays and lesbians is a mainstream concern, which is a goal we share.
As we begin the final phase of this campaign, I need your support more than ever. By working together, we will achieve the goals we share for Massachusetts and our Nation.
Sincerely,
W. Mitt Romney
“If he would now just come out in favor of protecting marriage”
HE ALREADY HAS.
“I agree with 3000 years of recorded history. I believe marriage is a sacred institution between a man and a woman and I have been rock solid in my support of traditional marriage. Marriage is first and foremost about nurturing and developing children. Its unfortunate that those who choose to defend the institution of marriage are often demonized.” - 12/14/06 National Review Online
“Like the vast majority of Americans, Ive opposed same-sex marriage, but Ive also opposed unjust discrimination against anyone, for racial or religious reasons, or for sexual preference. Americans are a tolerant, generous, and kind people. We all oppose bigotry and disparagement. But the debate over same-sex marriage is not a debate over tolerance. It is a debate about the purpose of the institution of marriage and it is a debate about activist judges who make up the law rather than interpret the law.” - Mitt Romney 12/14/06 National Review Online
In contrast, Mr. Romney signed a National Organization for Marriage pledge a year ago in favor of a federal constitutional amendment to define marriage solely as between one man and one woman. Further, the former Massachusetts governor does not support civil unions.
As for whose campaign will benefit more from this social issue, it is worth noting that Obamas campaign raised $1.5 million within 90 minutes of the broadcast announcement. And at a fundraiser held shortly afterwards at the Los Angeles home of actor George Clooney, the campaign took in some $15 million.
Hollywood is overwhelmingly progressive when it comes to gay rights issues, says Michael Federici, a political analyst at Mercyhurst University in Pennsylvania.
Beyond that, at least 33 or nearly 1 in 16 of Obamas top fundraisers, known as bundlers, are openly gay, according to a CNN analysis. The Washington Post estimates that the ratio is actually 1 in 6, while the gay issues publication The Advocate puts the figure at 1 of every 5. Between January and March, they collectively raised at least $8 million.
“If he is not for 0bamacide,pushing gay marriage, picking which companies are winners or losers, 1 1/2 Trillion debt a year, or fundamentally destroying the USC... Romney will be a big improvement.”
Winner!!!
Cool.
Great job! We need that Bambi to win four more years! He's just the right guy at the right time, correct?

You should be ashamed of promulgating such smears.
Of course he wont. He's on record against the taxpayer funded abortions that Obama supports, and he'll defund Planned parenthood. Beyond that, it will be up to judges to allow STATES to change laws.
freepers, please see the media bias when it is staring right in front of us. Like when George Stephie in the debate asked a pointless and dumb question about birth control, This is a LEADING question designed to DISTRACT from the real campaign. This is designed to HELP OBAMA WIN with a gotcha narrative (either he's 'changed his views' or 'he's pushing more war on women stuff').
This is why Romney said what he said. No, he doesnt have any *legislative* plans for any Federal laws restricting abortion, nothing beyond eliminating PP and abortion funding, reviving Mexico city policy and appointing good judges to overturn Roe v Wade. After Obama, that's a night and day improvement.
Meanwhile idiot liberals accuse Romney of taking away tampons (!!!) on the basis of a joke, while the Obama campaign lies and insinuates he will take away birth control. The paper was trying to revive the bogus 'war on women' campaign theme. Conservatives will only make it worse by dwelling on this non-issue and non-story. Meanwhile...
Obama lied. Ambassador died.
