Wish I could disagree. A-Z will be working to befuddle Romney....planted questioners, moderator interference, and God knows what else. For the simple reason that journalism controls all the TV access - and if you want televised debates bad, you will get them bad.If both candidates really wanted balanced debates, they would do the debates online and let the TV journalism outlets pick up the feed, or not. And you would have a great many debates, and you would not trouble to bring the candidates together physically but instead would have both candidates on a split screen, and the candidates would control the microphones via a chess timer to force them to equalize the time. No moderator would be needed.
