Now this, I’ve got to say, is a classic straw man argument. As a Bible-believing Christian, I have struggled with Romney’s Mormonism and I still believe he is a member of a cult. But I have made peace with the idea of voting for him as POTUS as the alternative for our country is horrifying.

Tell that to the people who call me a bigot when I'm not the one who has ever had any issues with Mormons. Besides, I'm not telling people they should or shouldn't vote for Romney, I'm only saying they should be honest about it and what they're getting.

Okay fair enough — if you know people that have actually done this kind of 180 on Romney, I’ll take you at your word. My only point was I don’t believe this is a widespread sentiment among evangelicals. I just don’t see the ‘bigotry’ charge being leveled at those who refuse to vote for Romney, at least in my circle.

Those who would say that, in my opinion, are pretty ignorant anyway. There are several policy reasons to oppose him, and any critical thinking person should recognize that. I’m just saying that at the end of the say, ALL his many faults outweigh the horrifying scenario of another 4 years of the lawless Marxist.
