To: Secret Agent Man

If you are suffering from dementia, do you want your family and doctors to prolong your life with dialysis. His wishes may be known to his doctors and family as part of his living will/advance directives.

I only have one kidney left, and if something happens to it, I'm shuffling off this mortal coil and headed for a sweeter and fairer land.

My daughter that has authority over that is well aware of my wishes.

no, probably not. i suppose it would depend on how bad the dementia was.
