17yrs ago, I was deputized to work undercover with 15 DEA/ATF/US Customs/FBI/IRS Agents in the State Narcotics Task Force. I infiltrated gangs and networks, met with gov’t informants, set-up the shipments/deals/buys and they did the busts and prosecutions. I testified in 26 of the 29 successfully-prosecuted cases. They did let some get away with ‘minor’ stuff, but I witnessed/heard-of nothing ‘major’. They kept a pretty tight rein on all of them. My safety was also at stake, so I took no chances. The Agents/DAs I worked with were real pros, and kept a very careful watch on me, too.

From the Article: "The way we use confidential informants is a huge aspect of the daily operation and also the legitimacy of the criminal justice system," IOW, they've made selective enforcement of laws such a mainstay of the judicial-system that looking at it too closely will cause the whole house to fall.

I look forward to the day that many of Bamster’s Boys, like AG Eric Holder, are sporting those flashy orange jumpsuits. [I can dream, can't I?]
