American History Museum is my all time fave.
I love museums. The Holocaust is the only one I’ve missed that I must see before I’m too much older.

I know it will and I “think” I’m prepared, given that I’ve seen many gruesome films, still shots, and studied the Holocaust and WWII for decades. I started Nazi hunting at age 8, spying at the German Village in Balboa Park. The neighbor girl and I took down license plate numbers and reported them to the police until we were told to knock it off...lol. We had found Life magazines in my garage that had the most gruesome still shots imaginable. We were sure we could locate Nazi’s.

Me too. Have you read Mila 18 by Leon uris? I thought I was prepared, too. When there aren’t so many tourists in the exhibit with you,if it’s too quiet, it is really tough to take.
