About 20 years ago friend's daughter wasn't accepted to law school at UT. She had better grades and higher scores on admittance tests than a Black girl who went through all 4 years of UT undergrad with her... the Black girl was accepted to law school and friend's daughter wasn't.

She wrote a 3 page letter to the Dean of the Law School about being victim of affirmative action policies.

The Dean responded that she was absolutely right and there wasn't anything he could do about it.

She was accepted at another law school and is a successful, conservative attorney.

Meanwhile, the mother, a UT alumni, was glad she got away from "that liberal cesspool" called UT.

they have been drinking california KoolAid there at UT for years.

I grew up in Austin and graduated from UT. Used to even recruit engineers there for a major company. They told me only Blacks would be hired, and a white resume was DOA.
