I don't know about that. I don't see Romney just rolling over and allowing his political enemies to savage him like Bush did - and to an extent, his father as well. I always liked G.W. Bush but never understood why he never fought back and allowed his opponents to define him as a hapless, incompetent man.

So far, I've been very impressed with Romney during this campaign. He's polite and presidential about it, but he doesn't put up with crap from anybody.

I can't argue with that. I hope he really means that if a program is not worth borrowing money from China, then it's not worth having. I don't think he can follow through on that.
