You beat me to the punch. With the U6 number stubbornly above 14% for years, people losing their jobs and their homes, it’s just amazing that the homeless stories just got wiped off the media’s radar as if they never existed. They only reappear during Republican administrations, and so do the war protestors.
Thats so right.

If I were President Romney, 5 minutes after taking the Oath I would issue an Executive Order that the only official Unemployment number my Administration would recognize is the U6.
This move would do three things, set in stone how bad the Obama Admin was without pointing fingers, acknowledging that far to many people were out of work and you eliminate the Democrats saying "well the real unemployment number is blah blah blah..."
