It actually surprised me. What didn't surprise me were Boxer and Feinstein strutting around with their feathers all akimbo screaming for an investigation into price fixing or rigging the market. Their own party and voting record need to come under investigation. Mandatory boutique fuel blends for the state and even certain counties, outrageous state-county-city taxes, shipper's fees and exorbitant regulations, refiners fees and exorbitant regulations, we have to import oil to a state and country that nearly floats on the stuff, we haven't built a refinery in California since Brown's dad was in office and the current refineries are at 130% of their original capacity. And these dumb-ass wizards pretending to care for the people wonder why prices are so high in California? If a mouse farts anywhere in the manufacturing/supply line of fuel in this state the price will go up. -Wb
