Not only that, but at one of these debates, this or something like this needs to be said:
There has been no budget for 4 years. The first two of those years, your party held the White House, and had significant margins in the House, and Senate. The Senate cannot filibuster budgets and the House HAS no filibuster. So to say that Republican obstruction is the reason there has been no budget passed on over 1250 days is a lie.
We’ve not seen the end of material Romney and Ryan can use at their debates (Ryan, a single one this Thursday).
The opportunity was there for pointing out, "Yes, Mr. President, I know about the importance of budgets. I have run businesses. No business can operate successfully without good budgeting. Why is it that you and your fellow Democrats have failed to pass a budget for four years? Do you think the people's business is not as important as every small business in America?"
