I don’t think having Barry dress up like Big Bird will work.
If I had PhotoShop, I would morph Axelrod into the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz holding an axe.
I think that calling Axelrod “Axe” is beyond funny, and is very appropriate.
obama DID sneak in a mention of “repealing Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” in the debate, which is one of his standard talking points. It was COMPLETELY irrelevant to the subject under discussion.
I hope that it went over like a lead balloon with most of the viewing public, as it did with me. I also hope that sneaking in his other talking points in the next two debates goes over like a lead balloon as well.
Nah, the liberal MSM will
- sneak in a wounded vet who just happens to be gay to tout Obama.
- Then they will have a 20-something praise obama for saving his life with Obamacare.
- Then a person in the 47% will chew Romney up for daring to make money as a capitalist and saying how hard they work as a community arts director
... they cant let Obama do anything, they’ll do the lifting for him.
“womens issues” aka free birth control was also completely irrelevant. I look for that crap in the next debate though. Probably more social issues, but thankfully foreign policy will be discussed too.
A major problem for Obama on Wednesday night was that his performance was so bad that his staunchest media supporters, for example, James Carville and Chris Matthews, were so shocked and disgusted they couldn’t restrain themselves from blurting out the truth in their post-debate commentaries.
I’m sure David Axelrod will give these commentators clear pro-Obama talking points to use after the upcoming debates so this won’t happen again.
Obama’s staff will also be working harder to prepare Obama for the next debates. But so will Romney’s staff. And Romney now knows some of the issues Obama is certain to raise — for example, the 47% brouhaha, Bain Capital — because if Obama doesn’t raise them, his supporters will be even angrier at him than they were on Wednesday because they’ve now advised him that he must raise them.

It’s going to be interesting to watch the jousting as Zero tries to counter Romney.
The media and Obama are on the same level of weakness with lackadaisical performance. The two are not excellent in their work. Together they have wrecked the country.
Nice! Thanks!
Axelrod looks and sounds like a sleezy snake oil salesman.
If a campaign is receiving millions in donations, how would you ever trust it with such clown?
Romney has already conceded that he misspoke in offhandedly using the 47% figure because he didn't intend to include those on Social Security and military pensions. And of course, a significant percentage of these people will be voting for Romney. But the anointed one and the Demonrats will continue to bludgeon him with it anyway in ads and in future debates. But I don't think it wins many votes for the Obamanation.
But will lazy Obama?
But they’re not biased. No way, uh-uh!
There are probably not 5 percent of the voting population who have not made up their minds already. Of that 5 percent not more than 3 percent will actually go out and vote. It will be a surprise to me if the percentage of eligible voters that actually take the time and make the effort to vote exceeds 50 percent.God save the Republic!
He actually goes by “Axe”?
Isn’t there some “coolness” requirement that has to be fulfilled before someone can use a nickname like that?
So press corps asks “can we axe you a question?”
