Bombshell: Obama Administration Withdrew 16 Member Special Forces Team From Libya

Bombshell: The Obama State Department withdrew a 16 member special forces team from Benghazi one month before the deadly attacks on 9-11. Lt. Col. Andy Wood was the leader of the 16 member special forces team whose job it was to protect US personnel in Libya. His team’s mission ended in August a month before the deadly Al-Qaeda attack on 9-11. A six member mobile security team was also withdrawn around the same time. This was despite the fact that there were over a dozen attacks in the country this year. Lt. Col. Wood was subpoenaed to appear at a House committee hearing this coming week. Wood told CBS News it was unbelievable to him that the State Department withdrew security when they did because of the 13 security incidents before 9-11.

Sounds very plausible. I of course do not know. I have read that he knew about illegal weapons transferred to the anti-Gaddhafi revolutionaries, so I it has occurred to me that the administration wanted him gone due to that knowledge.

But I think you have read even more articles about this than I have - what do you think?

It is known that there was a team there to recover missiles that went missing from Gaddafi's stockpile during the 0bama/NATO sacking of Libya. Some reports have speculated (I don't think it is a known) that the former SEALs were part of that team. Other articles say they were security personnel. That seems doubtful to me since it is a known that the British firm, Blue Mountain, was hired by state for security (for the paltry sum of $300+k per year) and hired only Libyans.

There is so much smoke still swirling around this thing it's hard to pin down facts. To me the intel grab seems like the biggest win for the terrorist attackers of anything. Worth a lot of planning and perhaps even 13 prior false flag attacks. Or probing attacks to see what security was and if anything would be done to beef it up.

I don't disagree at all that the whole thing looks like a setup. I am only proposing that their primary target was the intel not the personnel. It not only directly helps the terrorists who carried out the attack but it's worth big money (I would assume) to many other enemies in the ME. Money or favors.

It's bad enough to think 0 & H would setup an ambassador for political payback or silence but it's an order of magnitude scarier to think they helped our enemies get classified files on intel ops. But it fits if you believe that 0 & H are working to bring about a union of Islamic states under the MB. And I do.

Thanks for your assessment. Sounds completely logical, and I think it’s obvious 0 wants a unified group of Muzlim countries ruled by MB. And to my simple mind it’s utterly damning that the FBI didn’t get in there until a few days ago, and stayed for 12 hours.

And TIME and other journalists have been there since it happened.

Makes me want to puke.

Thank you but I wouldn't go that far. I have tried to keep up with at least an article or two on specific aspects of the story. If you're following Nachum you'll have a virtual catalog of articles. Ernest_at_the_Beach is hot on this story too with links to fresh threads/articles and selected pickings from them. Amongst a number of other FReepers tracking it very closely. bronxville comes to mind. If any one place has this story covered it's FR.

You've got that right. He said he would stand with the the muslims against the "ugly underbelly" of U.S. immigration law. Guess he's just taking it global, like our oil exploration.

BTW does anyone know where to find that email exchange by a State Department spokeshole - ahem I mean spokesman - and a CNN guy? In which the spokes.h. called the CNN guy an a-hole and used the f bomb twice? I saw it but can’t remember. I think TIME and CNN may be stirring in their slumber. They’ve both written non-favorable articles about this lately. And the CIA is getting irritated. All this might lead somewhere. It’s like F and F on a grand scale.

If I don’t write things, I think I’ll go nuts. haa. I’m an optimist at heart, but what my family and I see going on in this country is the worst I have ever seen and it’s so darn obvious. Scares all of us.

Libya is the tip of th iceberg, and that is a coverup involving the highest peeps in this administration. There is more than meets the eye and if he wins by cheating he will have 4 more years to finalize his transformation of this great nation. I don’t think that will happen.

Yeah. On August 16, right before the conventions, someone told google there was malware on my site. What a coincidence.
