JMHO, her reaction this week doesn't have as much to do with Progressives, Conservatism or Christianity as with her very own finely-honed sense of self-preservation.
Put yourself in her shoes: "Been carrying this load of crap with no questions at all for eight or ten years, and the first time The Apparat hits a bump in the road, they run out and trash For-Pete's-Sake Jim LEHRER, and then John Freaking KERRY."
Okay, I'm putting words in her mouth, but if I'm any good at reading that bunch of slugs at all, Kirsten's just doing a pretty good impression of the lookouts who spotted the iceberg ahead of the Titanic....only all the lifeboats on this cruiseship are already reserved, and she's just realized that her name ain't on that list.
