I have three adult children and the youngest will be casting her first vote this year. None make enough to pay income taxes, yet they are conservative as you come.
One is in ministry.
One is a marine.
One is a wonderful young high school girl, completely devoted to her Lord and Savior.
All three support Romney.
“have 3 adult children...none make enough to pay income taxes...are as conservative as they come...support Romney”
Thanks to you for that anecdotal, but confirming report, to the point made that Romney realizes he stepped on his own meaning in those remarks about the 47% who don’t pay taxes being the sum of those who will all vote for Obama.
Romney/Ryan have realized that and have both said he didn’t say what he meant by putting it the way he did.
Around here, though, usually one is attacked for daring to agree with R/R that he didn’t state it correctly and his intended point got lost.
Your post is one of the few that tells it like it REALLY is...
Romney was right to take back the 47% remark. That's not to say fhat he was completely wrong. He wasn't. There is a parasitic class that will never vote for him. But that class is not defined by paying or not paying federal income taxes.
