Yeah, this is tremendous way to make the GOP as unpopular as possible with young people by looking square, and horrifically out of touch (which a lot of people on FR seem to want to do as well.)

Correct. Hobbies are hobbies. Restoring a 64 Impala means you like 64 Impalas. Reaching a high level in a game may be equally satisfying.

Full disclosure: my youngest daughter works for Blizzard Entertainment, but does not play any of the games they produce. Yet she is told that her deparment would not function as well without her.

It’s never a plus when elite country club GOP snobs want to try and prove the stereotype that Republicans are uncool, square, old, boring, judgmental and culturally out-of-touch. Someone tell these idiots to represent conservatism and not to represent their own groundless biases against certain forms of harmless entertainment.

Yeah, agreed.

I’m sure there are some GOOD reasons this woman shouldn’t win the race. And if this is what they’ve got World of Warcraft, maybe the GOP needs to concede this one.

And I am NOT a gamer, unless spider solitaire counts.

One of our people who were murdered in Benghazi was a big shot in the gaming world, but I’m unclear about which person it was.
