They’ve lowered the starting age for Scouts. My boys all started at 6 years old as “Tiger Scouts” which changes to the “Bobcat” rank about midway through the year.Those would be I believe, a part of the Cub Scouts...Between the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, you have the Webelos...

Boy Scouts start at age eleven... Also boys who have completed the fifth grade and are at least ten years old, or have completed the Arrow of Light and are at least ten years old.
