Amazing to some people...but my personal belief is that they are Led to their owners because of their love and loyalty. Everything that lives has a spirit, and I believe all spirits are open to The Spirit for guidance. But that’s just me. ;o]

I believe that, too. Sadly, for most humans, as we grow up we’re taught to ignore it. I’m an animal whisperer. I used to get cravings for tuna in the evening when I wasn’t even hungry and I’m not that fond of it anyway. I finally realized it was because of my cat. I cut short an international vacation because I knew something was very wrong. My cat who was boarded with my vet had become very ill and they hadn’t called me. I can hear my dog bark in my head to get me up when I stay in bed too long. He knows he’d be yelled at if he actually did it. So, sometimes being a whisperer is both a blessing and a curse.

I believe this too. Just this week we had an interesting thing happen at my place of work. I have a window office, and the other morning, this little dog came right up to the window. Never seen him before. I went outside and found him hanging around the back door. He had an audience by then, as a couple of other people had seen him. He let us touch him, but was really scared. No collar. I offered him a piece of cookie, but he wasn't interested. We set out some water because it was hot that day. We decided that if he was still there at 5, one of us would take him home and try to find out if he was lost.

He sat in the shade by the door for four hours, even fell asleep. He acted just like he was waiting for someone. Our mail room guy was petting him and after 5 minutes of tolerating that, he growled at him like, "Okay, that's enough." Finally, a lady who usually works at our other campus and was here for a meeting walked through that door and he jumped up and went to her like he knew her! We said, "Is that your dog?" She goes, "Of course not!" "We'll, he's obviously been waiting for you because there are three of us here willing to take him home, but he chose you." She ended up taking him with her and was going to have him scanned for a chip to see if be had an owner. It was the strangest thing I've ever seen.
