About two weeks or so ago there were news stories about how the Department of Labor "found" over a half million jobs by correcting their survey methods (or something like that). I know it was discussed on FR, but I can't find the stories. It looks like they counted them all this month so that even if only slightly over 100,000 new jobs were created all those jobs hiding under the couch get counted just in time for the election.

Does anyone know where to find those stories? I tried, but I couldn't find them.

It’s becoming very obvious that the career civil servants at the Department of Labor are every bit as corrupt as the Obama administration and willing to do whatever it takes to advance Obama’s reelection chances.

These career civil servants are currently under a so called “pay freeze”. That pay freeze needs to remain in place for however many decades it takes for these impossible-to-fire leeches to have their salaries matched by the gradually increasing minimum wage. Even at minimum wage they will still be grossly overpaid.
