The best analogy I know of would be the demise of HMS Hood in the Demark Straits but, if you really want an anology from the realm of prize fighting... Roberto Duran was probably the most technically perfect professional boxer of our age and the fight with Hector Thompson was probably his hardest lightweight fight, the two punches which ended that one were unbelievable:

I’ve said for four years if Baraq was a 1600 SAT, 4.0 in college, and ripped the LSAT, those documents would be framed in gold and hanging on the WH Press room walls.

Rush was real good today. He is right. The Left will never understand Conservatism. They have some kind of defect in their mental wiring. They are able to convince themselves that lies are the truth. And they use this mental defect to misalign observable reality until it agrees with their crooked belief system. They will never test their belief system against reality in a logical way.
It is a childlike existence.

Like I said in another post, this reminds me of a pool shark throwing away the first two games of a three game set, only to run the table on the third and most important game when the stakes are super high.
He’s a street thug who firmly believes white folk fall for the head fake every time.

Does Rush really think Romney is a conservative?

From what he’s saying today, Obama is in denial. “ That wasn’t the real Mitt Romney”

The problem with that has been pointed out, Obama has no idea how to play pool.
He does not have any defendable ideas to present in a debate

You are so right...and it goes beyond this purple lipped prince and his handler Soros...you cannot publicly defend communist, socialist ideas. When you have to try to disguise them as something good for the people and get called on it, you are left flat footed.
The progressive aim to to slowly introduce and gain acceptance, but our Constitution thwarts that every, and I mean every time...as it is doing just that now. I have soooooooo much respect for the authors of our Constitution.

Are you trying to compare Obama to Duran? The only thing they have in common is, in that clip, Duran was a lightweight

No, I was comparing the knockout in that clip to what happened last night. Again the only other really good analogy I could come up with was the destruction of HMS Hood.
Duran was a natural junior welter if there's such a thing as an ideal weight division for a fighter. He and Roy Jones had the same basic problem i.e. at some point they had scared everybody close to their sizes into the woodwork and had to start beating up progressively bigger people to make money at it. At that point, you need to switch to some other sport.

Like I said in another post, this reminds me of a pool shark throwing away the first two games of a three game set, only to run the table on the third and most important game when the stakes are super high. But Obama is not that smart, so this analogy won't play out.
Also, a lot of Independents and fence-sitters watched the first debate, just to see how Romney is. After the debate, most probably made up their mind to vote for Romney and not Obama. They might not even bother with other debates, having seen Romney as the winner.
I believe the remaining debates won't change voting, most voters have already decided who to vote for. If Romney and Ryan continue do well, the Obama voters may give up and not vote at all. If Romney and Ryan don't do as well in remaining debates, people desperate for change will still vote for Romney.

Quite so. This is a man who had his meat cut for him his entire life.
To: ConradofMontferrat
Ain't gonna happen, at least not that way. It has been obvious for years that Obama has something wrong with him. Maybe related to the as-yet-unexplained cranial surgery scar on the back right side of his head. Maybe not, maybe just a false-front flunkie of the Left.
He does act like someone with a brain injury however.
