Despite Threats, U.S. Cut Security in Libya Before Attacks

In the six months leading up to the assault on the United States consulate in Benghazi, the State Department reduced the number of trained Americans guarding U.S. facilities in Libya, according to a leading House Republican investigating the Sept. 11 anniversary attacks. The reduction in U.S. security personnel increased America’s reliance on local Libyan guards for the protection of its diplomats.

This is the latest charge from Rep. Jason Chaffetz, the Utah Republican leading a House investigation on the Benghazi attacks, regarding alleged security defects in Benghazi. Chaffetz said the information comes from whistleblowers who have approached the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Barry's problems just got a whole lot worse.

Sounds like some State Department people are not too happy about what happened in Benghazi.

At the risk of being labeled a "Conspiracy Theorist", I can't help but believe that there is more than criminal negligence and sheer incompetence involved here. I mean, there were clear threats, even credible warnings and absolutely NOTHING was done?!?!?

Liberals, as usual, are playing around with life they don’t care about as highly as they think of themselves and their insane ideology. A Secretary of State is less important to our nation than is one soldier murdered or maimed by p.c. ideology which puts jihadists on their bases.

Soldiers are fighting for American freedom; not globalist Shira. Move Congress’ and Hillary’s guards to an embassy and let them put some skin in the p.c. game they are playing with American life. Put US Generals with the soldiers on the jihadi bases. See how long the Islamic lying, spinning and murder lasts then.

Was the Benghazi attack preplanned and paid for with USA dollars, to create a foundation to justify a ‘wag the dog’ event to launch, right before the election?

Tinfoil hat is now removed.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz find out about that fake ‘14 minute video’ Obama said caused these murders. Something really stinky dead fishy about that video Obama advertised.

but...but...but didn't the State Dept buy a whole bunch of those armored electric urban assault vehicles, the Volt?

Oh, wait... they had to leave out the armor because then they would cost half a million each.
