Why hasn’t Pat Boone been inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame? He’s the king of rock and roll!
Actually, Randy Newman has written many, many hits for artists around the world, won two Grammys and several other awards, scored countless movies for Disney, Pixar and others, TV shows as well as his own recorded hits. I’m not a fan of him as a recording artist but he is a musical giant. Maybe google it to read up.
Was a 28 year Rush fan until they attacked Limbaugh, Neil attacked Christianity and Geddy said great things about meeting fatboy Michael Moore. Plus, their new record sucks. Neil once said Howard Roark of The Fountainhead was his inspiration, he sure acts like Peter Keating now.
Albert King deserved the nomination, so did the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, who had Michael Bloomfield as their guitarist. He was refered to as the American Eric Clapton, first US guitar hero of the 1960s
It’s the “We don’t like that rock and roll” Hall of Fame.
Corporate bullsh!t.
Last year Wanda Jackson got in as a 50s performer but not as a rock and roller, merely an “influence”.
That hall is a sham.
And so many lingering performers are denied entrance so douchebag MTV stars (who hate rock and roll) can get in.
Not everything is rock, nor should it be.
I like Albert King although I prefer Freddie King. Neither are rock and roll and Lightnin’ Hopkins had more influence on rock and roll & blues performers.
Not having Yes and Tull just shows what a joke the whole thing is.

I grew up outside of Cleveland. We knew it was a joke before construction was even finished.
what's not to like ?
I couldn’t find a good shot of her in tight leather pants, but this shot is hard to beat, too.
I still listen to the first Rush album, when they were to high to care about politics.
Disney/PIXczar aren't known for being Rock and Roll. But thanks for playing the game.
