Yes. Mitt did. Leherer asked a final question regarding the role of government. Ob pointed to the kind of things he has done-education and such.
Mitt pointed to the background wall and said “Its there. The Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.” He went on to explain how it was govt. job to protect those things listed : life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.
He specifically pointed out education as a responsibility of the state. He also mentioned the tenth amendment.

Hes going to be hammered and asked to identify the secretary for the office of the dog catcher in Beijing.
The wife and I were saying it would be cool for Ryan to work in "This is a big F'n deal" into Ryan's opening statement! HA!

I love the montages!
Rush: "If this had been a courtroom, Jim Lehrer would be leading the witness!" LOL

yes
you do not pay them
you are not required to because you are in another country paying their taxes
the idiot thinks that a company that is not subject to HIS taxes are screwing him out of his money
its more lies
his beloved union thug gm is going to china - its the smart thing to do
so is cessna - china just bought beechcraft - boeing should move to china
as he stands raging against ‘outsourcing’, no one points out that HE is the reason (and the lardbutt fat union lazy thugs)

Rush just quickly went through the ratings for last night’s debate... sounds like Fox News had the biggest audience? Rush says that bodes well for Republican enthusiasm...

I am pi$$ed last night too. There was no way you could get on this site....again..during a most important day of the last 4 years. What a joke.Yep, death and taxes are certain... as is FR breaking down during a Big Night like last night.
I'm tempted to say more... but I won't.
I didn't even bother trying to get on FR until long after the TV post-debate commentary ended late last night... FR was just fine after 1:00 AM ET.

I cant stand McCain.Same here, Fawn!
Romney may not be the "perfect conservative" candidate for many here on FR (and no, he wasn't my #1 choice either), but you gotta admit... he was brilliant last night. And Romney is a FAR better candidate than 'ol McCain was!
I really wish Juan McCain would just retire... it's time.

Problem is, if McCain would retire, I wouldn’t be surprised if Meghan ran for his seat.

Good point!
A different debate that compares to this one much more so is the first Reagan-Carter debate. “Everyone” (media pundits) thought Reagan was old and tired and would debate poorly and that smilin’ Jimmy “I love you” Carter would wipe the floor with him. Well, Ronald did the opposite. He was funny, NICE, respectful, forceful and stayed on point. Jimmy hemmed and hawed all night.
Now please Dear God, give us the same election night results that you did in 1980!

Confidential to Mitt Romney:
Obama is campaigning today asking if that was the real Mitt Romney on stage last night. Counter with: "Obama asks if that was the real Romney? Be very afraid that it was the real Obama on stage last night!"

No problem.....FR was worthless last night, for avid Freeper and debate watchers..I am going to bookmark hotair for the next debate, since I foresee another slowdown in our future/s).....see ya there :-) Is HotAir.com the place to be on Big Nights like last night? Do they have a good live thread going during debates, etc.? Do you have to register with a screen name?
Thanks in advance...
