$3,600 for middle-class families — “maybe they can buy a new car.”

With that they can't even pay for the tax break on someone else's Chevy Volt.

[No one should ever use the words “cerebral” and “Barack” in the same sentence ever again. He bragged about cutting taxes $3,600 for middle-class families — “maybe they can buy a new car.”]

Obama must not have heard that NATO bombed the YUGO factory in 1999.

Well, I live in California and today was the day that I paid the most money I have ever paid for a gallon of gas, $4.51 for Regular.

That “magical” $3,600 in Tax Savings, even if it was true, would disappear really fast considering the amount of miles our Family drives every year.

I was standing there calculating the Federal Gas Tax, State Gas Tax and State Sales Tax I was paying and I figured it comes out to about $1.00 per gallon. Never mind the hidden Taxes being paid to drill, refine, store and transport the product to market.

Remember, POTUS told us not to expect too much from him, that he was not a good debater. For once I would say Obama met and exceeded expectations for a poor performance. I’ll bet Michelle is kicking his butt tonight.

A $3600 tax break does me little good if my income is slashed by over 50%.

But they made him practice for the debate “all day”.

Not enough?

LOL.

3600 divided by 3.60 a gallon = 1000 gallons of gas = 19.23 gallons per week = 481 miles driving per week at average of 25 miles per gallon = 68 miles per day of driving = 34 miles to work and 34 miles back to work with no family driving added at all.

IOW, they won’t be able to buy anything extra with the money due to Obama driving the price of gas sky high.

And we’ve not considered the additional cost of electricity and other fuels for home heating and other things, so we’ll not deal with that, and that will balance out that the price increase was only $2 per gallon.
