The look Obama had on his face was that of someone who just realized that all of those close to him had been ‘yes’ing him to death all of his life and he wasn't nearly as bright as they had led him to believe. It was difficult to tell whether Romney was debating an empty suit or an empty chair.

Obama phoned it in.

Strangely, Obama’s debate performance was similar to Gingrich’s during the 2 Florida primary debates.

Obama seemed completely out of his element and more of an AA result.

I kept getting the impression that Obama was acting like someone who was debating the President [President Romney], rather than someone who IS the President.

Obama didn't seem to have much substance (facts) at his command. He, of course, doesn't have much of a record to run on.

Ironically, one of Obama's early statements was 'get away from the past and move on to the future.' That after almost 4 years of blaming Bush? Forward to what? Obama's last 3 budgets got ZERO votes. Joblessness? CNN had a random act of journalism and showed that, for the just over 4 million new jobs Obama claims, just over 4 million old jobs were lost, for a net difference of ONLY about 250,000 new jobs in the last 4 years.
