Carlson called out Andrew Sullivan as one of the reporters who responded to the transcript of the edited Obama speech without saying it was a transcript supplied by the Obama campaign. Sully didn’t like that.
I went over to the article where Sullivan says he posted the entire (he has the word “entire” in italics) speech. So I started to read it. I’d listened yesterday to the speech and remembered that one of the controversial parts of the speech was where Obama said something about not building roads/highways to the suburbs. So I just did a search on the word “suburb.” Not to be found.
It does appear that Sullivan posted the speech that was handed out, not the speech that was given.
Wouldn’t you think that after Carlson had explained in some detail that the controversial parts were ad libbed that Sullivan wouldn’t have been so irate?? I don’t understand this reaction. He’s just making a bad situation worse for himself.
