Question: Does anyone get Obama’s “haven’t taken the bullet out” remark? What the hay was he talking about?

Obama started his speech referencing a story about a pregnant woman shot during the LA riots 15 years earlier. The team of doctors delivered the baby and removed a bullet from the baby's arm. By removing the bullet the arm could heal. The scar will be there in the baby, but with the bullet removed - the baby girl would develop.

"We haven't removed the bullet," Obama was saying our country hasn't removed the bullet of racial hatred that has wronged Blacks. Thereby implying his intended audience has a national wound.

Obama was poking at the wound and trying to incite the quiet riot.
