Park them at Pelosi’s house. I’m sure she won’t mind.
There’s a clothing optional park at the corner of Castro and Market St.
So if they sleep on the roof, it’s OK?
In a Republican Administration this would all be they fault of the POTUS and the uncaring Republicans in Congress.
If you have to be a vehicular housed individual, San Francisco is the place to be.
Just curious....dint they outlaw plastic bags too ?
Will all the Bag-Ladies have to go back to paper ?
Translation: We can't tax and control them to our satisfaction.
Translation: You must assimilate into the collective!!!
Sentiments will change, after the remainder of the middle class and much of the wealthier class falls from the markets and society. See the bond collapse, interest rate hikes propagating, radical decreases in currency circulation, “haircuts” for investors then pensioners, and so forth. Or refuse to see it.
With those RVs, you’re seeing most of us during the collapse to come, though our leadership is trying to keep the process going as slowly and mildly as possible. After the bond, market and currency collapses, things will get rougher.
Should’ve kept production of real things here, but now it’s too late. Should’ve rejected the weird social putsches. Have fun. Enjoy the slide.
Nice... my TV viewing area IS IN our RV...not outside!!
There homeless people living in abandoned boats in the Oakland/Alameda estuary. It’s becoming quite a sanitation problem.
Hey, people! You can’t sleep in those cars. There are plenty of nice libraries for that. The chairs are comfy. The previous users may have peed in them, though, so bring some plastic. Also bedbug spray.
In the Era of Baraq, the phrase “homeless problem” is never seen in the MSM.
However I believe it is more widespread than at any time since the 1930s.
I live and work in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. I can CONFIRM that there are 1,000’s of homeless and mental/substance abusing people, and seems to be more every day...the crazies seem be getting weirder too...screaming and talking to themselves...where do these people come from???
I have no real insight on your observations, but I do know there are a lot of “designer drugs” being made from unknown quality Chinese manufactured chemicals.
Stuff like “bath salts”, “K2”, and “Spice” are producing some whacked out folks here in the midwest and I’m sure they are even more prevalent in Calif.
Public assistance benefits in most California municipalities are pretty plush by comparison to most of the rest of the country, and then there’s the warm climate. The same thing that draws dysfunctional, illiterate, poor Mexicans is drawing dysfunctional, substance abusing, poor Americans. If or rather when the music stops and these overly generous municipalities lose their ability to dispense such largesse, you’ll have a ready made, large population of virtually feral crazies with which to contend. Any city of any size at all has them, but some cities are far more amenable, quite a few of which are in California.
At times I feel like selling my house and living in an RV like a nomad.
Dream is to stay in Yellowstone for a month. Work off the campground fee as a tour guide or something.
A brand new RV trailer (my lil Jeep will pull) is $10k, fully equipped too.

Carmen sounds like a real-life "concern troll." She is so worried and troubled and concerned about RV-dwellers not getting their "social services" that she's drafted legislation to throw them and their campers out of town.
