There have been reports for several years now of people, almost entirely men, living in campgrounds because they came for a job but couldn’t sell the house, often with wife and kids still living in that house. Some in motorhomes, some in campers, some in tents.

You do what you’ve got to do to get by, although I just can’t envision hanging onto an RV for long when money is a problem. In my world the toys are the first to go, and goodness knows they did, in 2008, along with a lake house. All sold, holding it together OK. I can empathize with these folks though, the work refugees not the street crazies. But for the grace of God there go I.
