I was hoping for something with teeth. I have heard Obama give many speeches, mostly campaign and recently, where he morphs into a southern black talker. Actually, I have seen the wifey do the same, so unfortunately, this is old news, the audiences eat it up. Katrina? No bombshell there, it is precisely what was being said at the time, is still believed today and was the primary cause of GWB falling dramatically in the polls. Rev. Wright? Obama condemns him a full year later for statements he made.
I think the line about taking money out of the suburbs MUST be put into an ad to run in the Philly suburbs. That would be very effective here, where you have the wealthy guilt liberals. Hearing Obama speak directly against their interests would be effective. It ought to be spliced together with his line about bankrupting coal plants from another interview. Then you’d have a great Pennsylvania ad that would work on both kinds of swing voters here, the blue collar Reagan Democrat and the wealthy liberal suburbanites.
