These stories are meant to make us angry and depressed. I’m not playing.

What do you think about what Romney had to say - as was quoted?

Who was it here that said, “we’ll deal with Romney later”? Mitt Romney ... our own little Socialist.

Mitt Romney told the Denver Post on Monday that is he is elected president he will not cancel President Barack Obama's deferred action program for young illegal immigrants before instituting another immigration plan.

Who really believes anything either side says, 1 month before the election?

I really don’t trust Romney on this issue of illegals/amnesty. Don’t really trust him on the matter of gay marriage and the gay agenda, either. And have serious doubts about him genuinely working to overturn Obamacare.

God, I hate this election so very much.

I fail to see why this would surprise anyone who knows anything about Romney’s political career.

Yogafist said it best on another thread:

So Romney is saying he agrees with the abuse of power this executive order constitutes. He agrees the president should not be limited by congress or the rule of law.

Hey Romney, which laws am I allowed to break with impunity? Why don’t we start with speed laws. Everyone breaks them. Why should I be punished if I get caught? '

The left-wing press is delighted to report these moments, because they know they will anger and discourage conservatives.

And it’s always a good idea to take a close look at what was REALLY said, because the left wing press lies and distorts.

Nevertheless, regretably, they don’t always need to lie about Romney, the way they did about someone like Rick Santorum. Romney DID recently say that he supports aborting babies who are conceived by rape, even though he’s currently pretending to be pro-life. And he DID just say that he would not reverse Obama’s gift of rights to illegals.

And his record in office was even worse. This is just what he’s admitting to while trying not to turn off his base. Not much doubt that he will favor widespread amnesty if he gets into office, just like the Chamber of Commerce. And abortion. And gay marriage. And gay sex in the barracks. And socialized medicine. And so forth.

If that’s discouraging to the base, Romney bears most of the blame for it. That’s who he is, and it’s delusional to pretend otherwise. He is just barely an alternative to Obama the destroyer.

At this point nothing reported about Romney will keep me from crawling to the polls over broken glass if necessary to vote against Obama.

Romney could kick me in the cahones and I would still vote for him. We have to get that Black Mooooslim out of the White House for the last 4 years he has been leading by Executive Order by passing Congress.

If Obama’s Administration gives deferred action to a illegal immigrant, if legal or illegal, what is Romney supposed to do? Get in office, find those that are here, as far as they know, legally, and kick them out? I don't think so.

He can shut down the program by Exec Order for people not yet selected pending a comprehensive immigration program; but he's not going to deport those who were given a free pass by Obama.

Let's all hope this is an issue on January 21st!

Yes, it’s painful—we’ve got to work as hard as we can at this point to get, essentially, Olympia Snowe elected as our next president.

Well, for 2 years, anyway. Sounds like nonsense double-talk to pander to Hispanics and moderates, while actually promising nothing at all. He did NOT answer a question as to whether he would ever consider new requests should be become president. My sources in the campaign tell me this is all B.S.

How can I be upset when we know he isn’t exactly a raging conservative?

It’s not really shocking he would replace this plan with something else, and keep in mind now he’s running.

If he said anything about getting rid of it or deporting etc., do you think that would help him....not really. It would be in the media for weeks about what a racist he is etc.

You could show me video of Romney in bed with 3 whores and eating live puppies and I would still vote against Obama, a white hating - country wrecking - constitution destroying - lying socialist - homosexual loving - corrupt organized crime boss - anti-American - incompetent epic failure - arrogant Black muslim bastard son of a communist whore.

This election continues to be about the very survival of America and the future of my grandchildren.

Obama and his filthy tribe MUST be removed from the Peoples White House, PERIOD. The theft of our country MUST BE STOPPED.

The way I read it is he’s not going to make impulse decisions
before creating a plan to deal with the issue.

Good call. He can institute another plan to deal with them that is based in law. Obama can’t legally do what he is doing, anyway. Reuters-Yahoo are playing us

A president Romney will change little or nothing of what he inherits from the kenyan. He may obtaina veto of Obamacare but it will turn out to be a mere renaming of it as "Romneycare.

The presidency is now irretrievably endowed with near absolute power. Romney will think well he will use it for "good" but the problem is the existence of the power. Nothing good can come of it.
