In 2008, some Dems tried to press the issue that a vote for McCain would ensure a military draft. In 2012, I was at a function and was stunned to hear a woman say she voted for Obama because she was “opposed to a military draft.” I questioned her and she truly believed McCain and the GOP would have a draft because she heard “something about it.” She said she was undecided about this election.
