Except for the dentures and a few bits & pieces left behind, those hogs did a pretty thorough job, on whatever it was.
Here’s the part which threw me:
“A pathologist was unable to identify a cause or manner of death, the newspaper reported. The remains will be examined by a forensic anthropologist at the University of Oregon.”
You might be right. He could still be alive. Could be deer/beef meat instead of human remains. He probably has a set of spare dentures. Dentist records and DNA tests would confirm it, one way of the other. Insurance scam? Who knows for sure, just yet?
