I think they've been charged something like $700, so it seems a little unfair to toss them out after they did their deals. The real person to blame here is the President.

But the idea of selling work permits or even citizenship isn't a bad idea - and the latter is already in place via business investment and real estate investement visas.

Nonetheless, Mitt went way out on a branch in favor of enforcement and not giving a path to citizenship for folks who broke the law, and I look forward to seeing his plan.

They are already in the business of selling citizenship. Do you know of anyone personally who has gone through the system? If so, just ask them about all of the fees, including those to immigration attorneys. Whenever see an immigration attorney on a talk show as an expert, all I see is an advertisement for him.
