Isn’t it worrisome that Rasmussen has Obama similarly up 50% to 47%?

As a disclaimer we don't yet know who will vote and maybe Dem turnout will be low.
The election will be decided in about 10 states, not nationally. But that could be even worse for R+R as O has been campaigning in those heavily for many months.
Personally, and this view is unpopular here with many, I think R+R have been taking a beating from the Dems and have made some mistakes causing themselves some un-needed problems, giving obama presents..
Once a candidate starts hitting 50% in the polls, the fat lady starts singing. Obama actually has half the nation convinced America is better off under him. Unbelievable. If we can’t win the presidency under these conditions, when will we? Obama voters could be starving in the streets and they’d still vote for him. It’s sad 236 years of blood, sweat, and sacrifice has come down to this...an ingnorant, apathetic electorate.
