If my cat was a little bigger, he would kill me and eat me. I can see it in his eyes, but he disguises it with his purring.

Yes, it can be scary.

I don’t wake up at any set time and it is a little ‘unnerving’ to look down and see a cat on either side of the bed, staring at you. Now you know they are waiting to be fed, but (I am at the age) I often wonder how ‘hungry’ the cat has to get to make ‘you’ the main course? And how long will they sit there to determine you have assumed room temperature. Of course, if you are still alive, the first bite or so would (should) waken you BUT what if you are paralyzed?
