What's up with those counties in western Massachusetts (I know all about Northampton), and the Gloucester area?
Howie Carr is broadcasting his radio show live from the debate venue in Lowell... he just offered one of Warren's senior staffers a "LIEawatha" t-shirt, but was rebuffed. LOL!
Berkshire county is a mix of poor and rich - not much middle.
Franklin county is entitled poor-moonbat-college commuters and professors - lots of public jobs
Hampshire county is heavy college moonbat.
(Saw a bunch of Romney signs in very rich areas in southern CT today - I was pleased - they aren't guilty anymore - lol)
I think maybe the western part of Mass is influenced by New York? I really don’t know the demographics of my home state anymore- just that when I was growing up there (Barnstable County) it was hard-core independent, don’t trust the government...with pockets of wildly liberal people (the intellects!). My 7th grade geography teacher told our class that by the time we reached the age to “collect” our social security, it would be out of money..bankrupt, so we should START SAVING EARLY in life. Just a few more years before I’m there- willing to bet he was right.
Keep in mind Nutmeg that Coakley comes from North Adams, my guess is they were voting for a candidate that came from their neck of the woods.

Western MA not a lot of population for the most part. Many ultra liberal college in the area.
Gloucester has an urban area. You’ll notice little pockets of blue on the map. Those are urban areas. As you know those went Dem. West of Boston the blue areas are affluent moonbat suburbs.
