I did not get that e-mail. The last e-mail I received from the Senate Conservatives Fund was Saturday, Sept. 29th, that did not mention any of the candidates individually, just bumped its fund-raising goal from $12 million to $14 million, though the e-mail did show a picture of Mourdock as an example of one of the candidates it was backing. The previous e-mail I had received from the SCF before that one was received Thursday, Sept. 27, which announced that it was backing Akin, that 93% of respondents to a SCF questionnaire supported Akin, and solicited donations to Akin’s campaign.
Akin is currently shown on SCF’s website as one of nine candidates SCF is backing, having contributed $137,000+ so far to Akin’s campaign.
