Last year in Chicago the 'big news' were the 'Flash Mobs' in Lincoln Park and Oak Street Beach, and along 'The Magnificent Mile' -- ritzy North Michigan Ave shopping district. (Tiffiny's and Neiman Marcus type stores)
Well .. this year NONE have been 'reported'. But that doesn't mean they stopped, nope. What the 'urban yutes' did was move on from Flash Mob shoplifting on Mich Ave., to Muggings and senseless Beatings along Chicago's 'Gold Coast' (where the 'old money' live in the few remaining real Mansions on Lake Shore Drive).
The residents are so fed up with lack of TV news coverage AND apparent lack of Police concern about their safety, they had a mini protest about a month ago. Which also got zero coverage from Chi's TV networks. Only Cop Blogs and a couple news articles had the REAL story of what was going on with 'the urban yutes' randomly attacking and beating senseless, the lone person walking along or elderly person walking their dog at night.
It's funny that all this 'urban yute mischief' started after Obama and Holder get control. Before that they wouldn't set foot in these areas, at least not in groups of 15-20. Now it's like they all have a Get Out Of Jail Free card.

As college student, Eric Holder participated in ‘armed’ takeover of former Columbia University ROTC office
As a freshman at Columbia University in 1970, future Attorney General Eric Holder participated in a five-day occupation of an abandoned Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) headquarters with a group of black students later described by the university’s Black Students’ Organization as “armed,” The Daily Caller has learned.
Holder was then among the leaders of the Student Afro-American Society (SAAS), which demanded that the former ROTC office be renamed the “Malcolm X Lounge.” The change, the group insisted, was to be made “in honor of a man who recognized the importance of territory terrorist tactics as a basis for nationhood.”
Black radicals from the same group also occupied the office of Dean of Freshman Henry Coleman until their demands were met. Holder has publicly acknowledged being a part of that action.
