Was there any mention of using straw buyers? No. Was there any mention of letting them cross the border? No. Was there any mention that they wouldn't follow the guns or smugglers in any way? No. Was there any mention that no Mexican LE would be notified? No.

None of the things that make F&F wrong and lethal were mentioned. No operational names were mentioned either so no proof of anything directly tying 0bama, Holder or Napolitano there.

I think you lost track of the argument.

Your original message stated: Sara: That would make sense - if Mexico had been told of Fast and Furious. The problem with that idea is that Mexico was not told and therefore could not consent (or, for that matter, track the weapons).

I provided a link to Calderone saying enough on April 16, 2009 to prove he, the head of the Mexican government, knew about Obama’s intention to track weapons just about the time the murders in Mexico took off to new levels.

You’re saying that because the president of Mexico didn’t mention straw buyers in a public address, all that he did say, and he did mention tracking weapons, failed to make you suspect that he, therefore Mexico, didn’t have the teensiest idea of the Fast and Furious plan?

Are you saying Calderone was duped? If so, let us know how you reached that conclusion. Tomorrow.

I’m going to bed.
