Lee Boyd Malvo, who was convicted along with John Allen Muhammad in the 2002 D.C. sniper shootings that left 10 dead and three wounded, says he remembers the killings vividly but can't explain why he did what he did.
"I was a monster," Malvo told the Washington Post in a recent interview from a Virginia prison where he's serving six consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole. "If you look up the definition, that's what a monster is. I was a ghoul. I was a thief. I stole people's lives. I did someone else's bidding just because they said so. There is no rhyme or reason or sense."
Malvo, now 27, was a teenager at the time of the shootings. Muhammad was executed in 2009. The shooting spree lasted three weeks before the pair were arrested at a truck stop in Maryland.
"At that point in time, I had been desensitized," Malvo continued. "In the midst of the task, there is no feeling. It got to a point where I'd get in a zone. There was nothing else but whoever is before me, and anything that comes between me and, as you would say, the target, I'm either going...

Remember the original profiles the “experts” provided on these guys? Heh ...heh ...heh.
He should have gotten the death penalty along with his “play daddy”.
wow ten years.....I remember CNN clownies discussing whether or not the cast of CSI would be able “track down” the killer.
A sincerely remorseful person would not question his punishment, he’d accept it and make do the best he can. David Berkowitz is an example of sincere repentance. He’s never questioned his need to be incarcerated and he doesn’t even bother showing up for his parole hearings, which must take place by law.
He could still make something of himself within his prison walls if he wanted to.
Then again, I get angry about a lot of thing our tax dollars are being wasted on these days.
I
“.. our students lost a lot of their innocence in those years”.
I remember the parks, playgrounds etc.. being vacant. It was almost like there were no children. Yes, the kids did lose a lot of their innocence (especially since it was a year after 9/11). The most stupid thing I remember was zig-zagging across a parking lot trying to get into a grocery store. Looking back it was comical. Eight people zig zagging in a hurry trying to get groceries. Just for making me zig zag.. they should tack on another ten years. LOL!
To hang around just to see if it might be true, is your decision.
And you are responsable for your decision.
If he had gotten the death penalty we wouldn’t have to hear his BS excuse making
“.. very sorry they didn’t make it”.
Unfortunately, they would have been looking for the infamous white van. Stupid Chief Moose.. giving out that info when he had information that it wasn’t a white van. Sheesh...
Hey, barry’s really into killing people, and as Malvo looks like one of soetoro’s sons, he should petition him for a pardon. He’d probably get it.
Obama will release him along with the Gitmo terrorists......
The real miscarriage of justice here is that ol’ Chief Moose isn’t in a cell next to Malvo.
Where the hell is that stupid Chief Moose anyway. What an ass he made of himself. Can anyone find a single person to speak and intelligent word about him?
The Commonwealth of Virginia sent John Allen Mohammed off to his eternal reward a few years ago.
Uh, no.
None of them were *ever* looking for white dudes or white vans.
We were looking for something that would “stick out” like crazy up here in the mountains.
Several places less than 20 minutes away were ‘targets’ on the laptop they had.
Boy, did they ever pick spectacularly stupid places to ‘hit’.
The funniest one was a gas station near the state prison/police barracks/national guard armory where armed cops and reservists hang out all the time.
Oh well.
What might have been.
They should have executed these two homo b*stards.
Yet another muslim disappointed in the promised reward.
>>Well, he WAS young and under the influence of an older adult...

You have GOT to be kidding. The man was a homicidal maniac. This is a conservative forum, not a haven for liberal touchy-feely crap.
You’re right... he “blended” in here. Sounds like he would have stuck out like a sore thumb in your parts. Sigh..... coulda, woulda, shoulda.
