What ever happened to the political power of Republican anger over President Obama
(Excerpt) Read more at silive.com ...
No screen name—trying to hide your ignorance?? apparently you would rather have Obama the known politician—or traitor—to the unknown Romney. With Obama we KNOW what we are getting—I’ll take my chance with the GOP. Have you seen 2016 the Movie????
“There is no apathy.
Every conservative voter has made it quite clear that repeal of Obamacare is a priority issue with them.
In response, every Republican candidate has pledged they will vote to repeal Obamacare.
Consequently, there is a widespread assumption that repeal of Obamacare is a done deal — pending a GOP win of both the White House and the Senate. “
Correct on all assumptions.
The only problem is that we should be driving home the message of how Obamacare’s 21 taxes are killing jobs, adding to costs and how millions are losing he health insurance they have. We could and we should be running against obamacare as a key reason FOR voting Republican.
Agreed. Yet, Romney can't really afford to raise hell on this point, can he? At any rate, it's apparent he doesn't want to make a stand on this ground...
No reason why Ryan can't though...
I don’t agree. The opposition to 0bama in general, and 0bamacare in particular resides within the the people who will not vote for him. These folks have rattled around at rallies and town halls and they have seen that these rituals have little or no effect. They further have a detrimental effect when they catch the eye of this administration. The folks who are in or consider themselves members of the Tea Party know who they are; and they need to maintain their jobs, if possible, to support themselves and their families. They cannot take time off to rally. They will pull the appropriate levers of touch the appropriate screen areas come election day.
Our only hope is that there are enough of them. That’s the bottom line. If there are, then this fool goes down. If they are not, the Republic is finished.
People like Juan Williams need to write an article now and then, and they are lazy fools who think the world revolves around them. The TP does not do what it does for the edification of the likes of Juan Williams, a true nothing if ever there was one. In other words, Juan not seeing something he thinks should be there is utterly meaningless.
Got to have something to do with Mr. Romneycare being the nominee. Hard to rally behind someone who passed the precursor to Obamacare. Not to mention Santorum made some very popular, strong arguments against Obamacare that got people excited, but there’s nothing that strong coming from Romney. “I like some parts of it” doesn’t compare to “let’s stop the big government takeover of health care.”
I would have thought the whole birth control push would have roused more opposition. Not only is it attack on Christianity, but it shows how the bill can be used by the executive branch to force any health insurer to do anything at all, which basically gives the power to one person in the presidency to dictate every single health care decision and transaction anyone makes. This is the year where we got the first real taste of how dangerous Obamacare can be. And this is just the beginning as it gets fully implemented in the next couple years.

Good points.
I think that we're going to have to fight this battle ourselves. I'm afraid that too many people on our side are taking cues from above, and as a consequence, this issue (and other important issues) gets buried. It's a mistake to let that happen. We know what the American people feel, and how so many are suffering under this president these days- if Romney's not going to adequately address this- then we'll have to take that lead again.
Back up your claim, ignorant one. No one cares how deceived YOU are - but don't post deceit about me! Got it? And Romney is NOT unknown - only to the clueless.
Like I said - all you have is promises with nothing to back it up other than you want it. I don't need to see anything to know how deception works and get's it way. You are still in the learning mode.
WOW! Look at you - so full of knowledge!/s Try implementing the little you know.
Yeah, well, that’s one of the reasons I considered not voting for Romney. It could run the risk of muting a lot of our enthusiasm on conservative issues, because a large segment of the base will just go along with whatever Romney says. They won’t have the stomach or the wherewithal to take on their own party. But if Obama and the Democrats win big like they did in 2008 and control Congress as well again, there’s just no upside to that at all.
I do think the conservative movement ought to become more divorced from the Republican party and find ways of pushing its issues that go around politicians. Obviously the left took over schools and the media, which has helped them a lot. We should also get behind some constitutional amendments, which allow the states to bypass the presidency altogether.
That is my greatest fear. That they will "fix" it instead of scrap it.
Try not embarrassing yourself by running around screaming “The end is nigh!”
You people are really getting insufferable around here.
It has Not Fizzled out, Romney has Failed to Tap Into it.
People have Not Been reminded that a Bureaucrat is going to be in the Examining room with them to Decide if they will have Care,it will not be you and the doctor.
Thanks. I thought Frist reeked of something like that.
Oh, I don’t believe the Tea Party is dead — far from it. However, I do believe that the RINOs and appeasers (but I repeat myself) in Congress have lost the message. They are far too willing to co-operate with the Left in the gradual destruction of our liberties.
The true test will come with the Obamanation repeal. If it is delayed, deferred, or diluted, we will know that the Republicans we elected as our “Representatives” are anything but. And then the Tea Party will speak again and flush the turncoats out.
Now that is MORE DECEIT FROM YOU!! Start backing up your accusations, you liberal POS! Liars attract liars!
I agree. I am still optimistic. I think they are over estimating Obama votes. The passion just isn’t there, and that shows up in turnout.
My main concerns fall around the lacking message from the Romney campaign. I am still hoping they’ll be taking the gloves off in the next couple weeks, but I thought they would make some waves in September and sat back on defense. I just see the Obama campaign getting away was the false narrative that ‘things were so bad, and we got them turned around’. It is crap. The economy recovered 4 months into his term. By June 2009, the recession ended before any policies had any impact. Since, there has a lack of recovery and lower and lower expectations. If Romney doesn’t hang this year’s slowing economy around Obama’s neck, they may not win.
lol...you are an entertaining one, I’ll give you that much
The entertainment is your deception. Nothing funnier that watching a supposed adult being deceive by something that is so obvious. And then mouth off with no facts to prove what they say.
